Scenery with the deepest sense
Such philosophical concepts as belief, the love, hope and death, find a form in hands of the Swiss jeweler of Patrik Muff. On creation of ornaments he is inspired by emotions, feelings and experiences. In each new collection there are repeating signs: a cross – a creed, flaring heart – a symbol of love and a skull symbolizing transience of life.
Rings in the form of masks of the old people of "Maori", wind roses, silver wings of an angel, also sinks of mollusks. Patrick Maff embodies a combination of the contrast worlds in own ornaments: the power of magic symbols with sensuality of great skills. The passion to inexhaustible force of starenky symbols became its corporate style. The Treasures collection conceals in itself signs of oceanic cultures – corals, sinks, spark teeth.
In other collection Patrick used Nimfenburgsky porcelain with which decorate inimitable interiors more than 260 years. The designer calls porcelain "white gold" and is sure that such accessory can decorate though what dress from a jeans jacket, to an evening dress. Porcelain scenery are added with silver, pink and white gold in a combination to sapphires and rubies.
As material for creation of ornaments at Patrick serves not only porcelain, well and spotless silver. According to the designer, character of an amulet very much changes is dependent on a used material. In the work the jeweler often gives preference to white and black flowers, emphasizing with that two parties of human soul: good and evil. All most fine details are laboriously created manually. The designer in each product brings the inexpressibly strong power.
Patrick Maff is perceived by many as the rebel and a rising star of a jeweler scene. Its unique works show inexhaustible energy which the designer scoops from history and archaic symbols of people Maori.
